Disadvantages/ Drawbacks of the Freedom251

Internet is abuzz with freedom251 everywhere. Indian netizens can’t think of anything other the freedom251 at the moment, after all it costs you less than a medium pizza! Ringing Bells, a noida based company launched freedom251. The smartphone comes with a 1.3GHZ quad core processor, 3.2MP rear cam and 0.3MP front cam, 8GB internal memory( 8GB memory card costs Rs250 in the market) and 1GB RAM. Everyone wants to buy it, after all it is so cheap. But it comes with lot of drawbacks.

let us take a look at some-

1.The Freedom251 will be delivered only after 4 months. Most people may forget about it by that time.

2.They might not be able to meet the demand and may end up like Boxight VR, which was selling google cardboard for Rs.99 and failed to deliver after taking money from it’s customers

3.No Cash on Delivery option. As I said, what if we pay and don’t get?

4.Poorly designed website with poor security. Any script kiddie can hack their website and your  privacy may be compromised too. Can you trust such a website with your credit card?

5.Their website crashed on the intial day of the sale within 2-3 minutes, which means they were not ready to handle the traffic.

6.The phone is nothing more than a device for connectivity. Similar to the Akash tablet, you won’t be able to do anything more than browse, text and call. The front camera is just a pushover and the rear camera can hardly click any good pictures.

7.The smartphone is poorly designed and the Adkon logo has been concealed with a whitener.

As you can see, the smartphone is nothing more than a pushover to provide security to women, connectivity to rural India and improve the Swach Bharath  program. For Rs.251, the smartphone is a stellar, but when it comes to daily usage the smartphone is nothing but a piece of crap. Now, you can decide whether to buy one or not! it’s up to you, it won’t cost much , but will it not be better to spend it on a small Pizza?
